The owner's grandfather Guido Klett moved into this home in 1916 when he was 2 years old. He spoke only German until he was 8 years old (and said he dreamed in German for his entire life). Guido inherited the home from his father in 1940 and when he married Maurine in 1942 they made it their family home. Over the next 57 years, they raised 3 children in this home and made many wonderful memories with their grandkids and friends. It sat mostly vacant from 1999 until the owners purchased it from Guido's son (owner's uncle) in 2022 and completed a total renovation in 2023. They will make this their permanent home someday, but in the meantime they offer it for visitors to enjoy!
